Fue tratada en Belgrado en el Instituto de Oncolog\u00eda, donde se someti\u00f3 a 14 dolorosas quimioterapias y hasta 60 radiaciones. El c\u00e1ncer apareci\u00f3 en su muslo izquierdo, desde donde, lamentablemente, hizo met\u00e1stasis en la pelvis y la columna vertebral, lo que afect\u00f3 gravemente a su cuerpo. Al final del tratamiento, Tamara pesaba 21 kg y estaba paralizada a consecuencia de un tumor en la columna. En mayo de 2021 comenzar\u00e1 la terapia con los productos AN Carstvo prirode.
